FITK NEWS –Of 38 State and Private Islamic Senior High Schools (MA/MAN) in East Java joining Madrasah Science Competition, MAN Tambak Beras exhibited its tremendous performance. This madrasah succeeded on attaining nine awards from 6 fields of Islamic education, biology, physics, mathematics, economy and geography. The winner rank from all schools is set on the chart.

The shining winners of MAN Tambak Beras comprised Saarah Savira (2nd best winner, Mathematics), Aliyatul Izzah (2nd winner, Physics), Muhammad Zainal Asrori (2nd best winner, Physics), Lativatul Auniyah (2nd best winner, Biology), Siti Nuraini (2nd best winner, Economy), Anisatul Malihah (3rd best, Economy), Kamalia Fitriana (3rd winner, English), M Choirul Anwar (3rd best winner, English), Gabriele Lailatul M (1st winner, Geography), and Nurul Muasomah (1st winner, Islamic Education).

Interviewed by the reporters, those winners could not let their grace away after taking the winning cups and certificates. “I like learning international languages like English and Arabics in my school. Those have to be mastered in increasingly rapid changing era,” M Choirul Anwar said

Seeing the madrasah students’ achievements, Dr. H. Nur Ali, M. Pd, Dean of Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training (FITK) fully espoused the Madrasah student’s achievements. “We are proud of their struggles and we will think of a new initiative so as to encourage them to be able to compete with the students of non-madrasah schools,” he saidPenulis: Dewi Nur Suci
